UAI predictions- how accurate were we? (1 Viewer)

Most of you started threads for an inquiry into the uai that you could seee yourself getting. How accurate were we (all BOS uai-predictors) at predicting your uai?

I did the hsc in 2004 and my UAI was 78.5 when i put my results into sam the 2004 predection is .25 less then what i got

My actual UAI is 0.1 higher than SAM prediction

i predicted that i would get 98+, and got 98.85 so my prediction was fairly accurate

I didn't predict but i tried SAM once and it said i'd get like 88 or something... but then I just entered in my school marks without moderating them?

Sam said 91.45. I got 91.45.

I never psoted about a UAI prediction, but at the end of year 11, I thought I could work towards 97.4, but ended up getting 2.25 more than that.

After I got my HSC results, SAM predicted 99.65, which is exactly what I got.

My own UAI prediction prior to receiving HSC results: 90-91
SAM: 99.25
JUAI: 99.10
Actual UAI: 99.00

Needless to say, I did way better than I thought I would.

I'd advise people not to put too much stock in their school's UAI predictions. The curriculum coordinator at my school used my assessment marks and ranks to predict a UAI of 99.50-99.75 for me according to his SAM-like program, and I ended up getting 100. Everything can change with the exams, for the better or worse.

my personal prediction was 1 point off my actual UAI, SAM was just over 6 points off my actual UAI

wasn't smart_dunce asking how accurate the actual people on BOS were in predicting uai's? nothing to do with SAM or JUAI?

i never started a thread on predicting my uai. i knew it was going to be shit and i didnt want to know what people thought i'd get

no one really predicited mine although Santaslayer said I would get over 90 and I did...
Sam was pretty accurate though (using my hsc marks)
Sam: 93.90
JUAI. 93.50
UAI: 94.00

I predicted 85ish

Didn't post in the said thread but my personal prediction was 97, and SAM predicted 97.15. Got 96.95, which is ok but it looks way better as a 97 than a 96.xx.
