The UMAT is scaled using a completely random method which the public is not privy to. So whilst there are technically 110 questions, it is not out of 110 - it is also possible to get over 100 for any single section (so it is not a percentage either).

With a concession, you have to pay $70 only.

You've gotta be disabled, a pensioner, or on a govenment health care card(not medicare or a health fund), etc.

A couple weeks before the UMAT, they'll send you a letter with the location and time

UMAT is the Undergraduate Medical Admissions Test, it's more of a psychometric test designed to test the speed, accuracy of your logical thinking, empathy, comprehension, etc

Ok, i'm just a little confused about this whole UMAT thing. Is the UMAT test only needed for: The University of NSW - Medicine and Optometry; Univerversity of Western Sydney - Medicine? Does that mean that if you want to do other health science subjects, that you don't need to sit for the UMAT?
