kido_1: keep dreaming there is almost no difference in a perfect UAI and a UMAT once ure in med school
un: based on ure post-graduate work years... and experience..
truth #1: all unis' marketin teams want u to think that prestige plays a part...
it means jack all cos if u dun help ure work mates.. ure just sabotaging ureself.. Colleges want competent and high achieving professionals. ... not egotistical douches..
UAI doesnt matter at all as long as you can follow the work at uniLottoX said:Nobody cares about UAI, it's about Uni; everyone is on a clean slate. All the 100 and 99.95 people are now your class-mates in first year. They're unproven in Uni... I don't think UAI matters all that much now.
USYD= RPALottoX said:USyd hogs all the good hospitals as well. Damn lamers.
I've found it to be pretty good so far. Your clinical teaching experience probably has a lot more to do with your clinical tutor than the hospital (I should mention that I've had a several good ones at POW). POW is relatively swish really, it has wards/sub-hospitals relevant to every module, e.g. women's hospital for BGD, children's hospital for paeds, oncology... and so forth.LottoX said:PoW schmelllllllls. It's crappy for teaching, actually.
Knows a shitload(not me). Id probably go for one that my friends are going to, in other words I really dont know what to say, bcz i am not such an expert too in this, just wait for some pro o the b.o.s to answa dat.un said:Now I am stuck for my uni preferences for med, i life in close proximity to melbourne uni and monash.
Which do uni for mede wuld u prefer and y- i like both teaching applications equally, which offers betta chances when specialising, is more prestigous etc, wates less time, etc;
Plz help, i know use guys nkow a shitload more than i wuld eva know
unethical my ass. they are all over the internet.LottoX said:http://www.med.unsw.edu.au/medweb.nsf/page/FAQ_local#Interview
Any info I could provide for the interview would not only be unethical, but it might also be outdated.
ethical is v. subjective.. u can basically justify anything..LottoX said:It gives these people an undeserved edge. It also makes the UNSW system less effective.
