If you know what you want to major in/enrol in etc, dont bother going

Only go if you want to do something you technically can't (ie: if you want to push into an advanced stream that you don't make the critera for, but think you should be in anyway)

UNSW advises us to go to that Academic Session thingy before we enrol into our courses. Can we enrol into our courses before we go to the session then change our enrolments if we feel it needs changing ?

Yes you can
u can change courses until the HECS census date (which is about 31st March)
