Btw, friends have been saying emailed results might actually be Monday night, so that all can be sent out by 9AM Tuesday. And apparently its in order of zID.

Does anyone know about what time results for ID z50##### would approximately be?

Check the results thread last year/semester. People posted their results and the time they received it. iirc mine was emailed around 8:30 and my zID is 501XXXX

According to seniors I know, all ACTL subjects are scaled down/up such that 65 is average, so getting 80 WAM each and every semester is going to be a lot of effort!

80 WAM sounds tough.

I see why Law Scientia students are always under pressure

How are we all feeling for results?

I felt pretty keen about 3 weeks ago when I finished my exams.

Now it's kinda dying down and at the moment I feel like I should be worrying a lot more than I currently should be, but I'm not for once lol.

I've already moved on for next semester lol.

One of the ASB lecturers told a friend of mine that 60% of cohort got D or HD for ECON1101 - seems like ECON1101 really is easier than ever.

Just wanted to say that for ENGG1811 2015 sem 1, 82% of cohort got a clear pass (50 or more) and 55 students (~8% of cohort) got HD.

Just found out that ACCT1511 final for this semester has no MC!! And is worth 70% NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

MC isn't necessarily all that good though. Just wait till you do MC for FINS1613 in Sem 2, and you'll see what I mean.

sem1 was nice though

1 contact hour unofficially (skipped lectures) and only required a few hours of input a week.

Then again, it was a bit dry at times.

But yeah 60+ % finals are normal in engineering and science. It is really nice to have a final worth less. I usually get better marks if everything is distributed over semester because I make too many silly mistakes in longer final exams. That's the DN side of life.

I guess they thought there were too many Ds and HDs in Semester 1 (60 MC, 15 marks SA finals) so they changed it to 70 marks worth of SA.

They're clearly trying to make ACCT1511 harder.
