Yeah, you have to wait till you get the offer but pretty much after you accept it you're good to go.

Wait not sure if what you guys said is opposite of each other... If I get guaranteed entry tomorrow can I accept and make my timetable on the same day? Thanks

Anyone knows when Engineering Dean List awards are first offered? A mate got an email for science dean list already and I was hoping to get into with 83 WAM.

Anyone knows when Engineering Dean List awards are first offered? A mate got an email for science dean list already and I was hoping to get into with 83 WAM.

You will get on the Dean's Honours List but not the Dean's Awards List.

3) the scif1131 course in 2018 is a new course, which probably merges the better aspects of the scif1121 and scif1131 courses from previous years. Expect it not to be a complete breeze, but it's still a pretty good wam booster.

1) Youtube it and just look for random stuff to get exposure.
3) SCIFF you dont need to worry about its ez pz its just like PBL and doing group work tasks each week dont stress and it doesnt have a course outline due to the nature of the course being so obscure.

URGENT - I'm in a bit of a pickle (riiiick)

Does anyone know how I can find out when summer school exams are scheduled for prior to the census date (7 January)? At this stage, they're releasing exam timetables on 12 January which is inconvenient given that I have been accepted into a program (that runs during the exam period) which may clash with the final exams (and I may be required to drop a subject).

Hey, does UNSW open up new subjects for semesters before the semesters have started? I wanted to do Elec2141 in sem2 but it says that it’s only available in sem1 which is not ideal as I need to do elec1111 as well (its a pre-requisite).

For my course i need to do math1141, phys1131, elec1111, eng1000, elec2141 and comp1511. The first 4 ive chosen for semester 1. Comp1511 is available semester 2 so thats alright. However, if elec2141 isnt available next semester what should i do? The pre-requisite for elec2141 is elec1111, so isn’t it logical if i do elec1111 first (in semester 1)? Should i call them and ask them to enrol me in semester 1 anyway, despite not having done its requisite? How else am i supposed to successfully finish the BE/ME Electrical subject requirements for first year?
