With the Law and ASB libraries, can an engo student just rock up and study in there?

Cause it seems like a really quiet place.

Other than that, I usually go to village green.

Yes but Law kids hate the engineers taking over their library.

Yes of course. I study there quite a bit. Law library is small though, and you can't really discuss things with others since everyone will hear you. ASB is better.

I absolutely agree with this, it is quite strange that I never have realised how good a home made sandwich taste until now... (maybe I am picky or maybe university food is just not what I had expected it to be).
These restaurants are for profit so the food isn't gonna be really good and a bit expensive.. The food, the tuition.. it adds up

So Subway is the best value i'm gonna get out of 8$ ?

It's a fucking cartel. One place can reduce their prices and really dominate.

Is there an engineering barbecue ? I am in aerospace (ie mechanical) engineering
Follow Mechsoc on Facebook for updates on events such as BBQs.

You can go to any but some may cost. Mechsoc BBQs are free for school of mechanical and manufacturing students.

Nice.

I might do that tomorrow because my soc meets in that area of campus.

There most likely is. With ELSOC we have one every two weeks-ish, but its during an ELEC lab for me anyway lol.

Actually the best place is Pizza Hut ! For 4 $ and a discount card (that they'll give you the first time you go there) you can buy a pizza Mia which is enough for a meal !

Barker Street. Walk up over the hill and then it's on the corner of the roundabout.

Yeah you can get hot water from ASB Level 2 (east wing) but not from Level 1. Dunno why.
You might bump into me there as well
