LOTS of people catch the bus
Who eats as soon as they get to uni or rocks up so early that they have time? That new coffee window on the corner might do alright although I tried it and didn't think it was that good.

The other shops will all be relying on max brenners and moochi to draw people to the area which is out of the way for most people.

personally I've never tried it, whats the best combination for it? chips and beef with gravy?

ppl can get some real good thai lunches at Khing Thai in Kensington (eastern Anzac pde at the part where it curves between Addison and Doncaster (?)) for $9.90

Portions are decent and it tastes great too
