The first week of uni will be even more pointless for some: going to bookshop and buy a new book (like they have never baught an orange from supermarket before), wrap it (optional) and then place it on the desk for the next 20 weeks before sell it to someone else...

oweek let people talk to each other when they meet new people, because in lecture Dr H will send you OUT!

I think the point of o-week is to make new students less "scared" of uni..

or to get them to understand the pointless lives lived by thousands of other uni students

The only thing I was scared of were those hawking store people in the main part of the Uni mall.

Lol, gman was quite right, I can't believe how people have already started buying textbooks amounting to 600 bucks...lol and the bookshop was like so weird, they don't even use plastic bags.

You had the 2005 with you still right? I will just do a quick constrast:

* Cover is bright yellowish, instead of black/green

* The weekly memo page is aquaish, instead of wasabi green.

* The timetable page actually accomodate for 8:00 o'clock lecture, which I happens to have this semester!!

Overall: soft tone colour, suitable for reading.

Last year in 1231 he chased a guy all the way up the aisle to the door. Exciting stuff.

And he wasn't a professor as well (pardon the pun).

I was glad I had him as a lecture for only one second year maths course!
