Couple of questions about the open day:
Are the residential colleges doing anything? I couldn't seem to find anything about it on the open day site
At Usyd open day they had an area where you could talk one-on-one with lecturers and students for various courses - does anyone know if something similar is happening at unsw open day / if so whereabouts?

Hi.

From memory you will be directed to Scientia building by yellow shirts to grab a few goodies bags. This will be up a flight of stairs under a glass sculpture that looks like a book opened on its spine (tree of knowledge sculpture). There will be an area covered by tents which is usually where the colleges have stalls with people you can talk to (there's a lot of them like more than 5 I think). Inside the building on that floor there will be 2 halls filled with representatives from every school and faculty at each stall. I actually had a 20 minute talk with Dr Eaton last year, so you definitely can find program coordinators and students there (I spoke to a few students too last year). Lecturers are usually researchers so you would be better off talking to a head of school or student or program coordinator. Hence why they are around to help.

So yeah for what you just asked Scientia building is where you will want to go.

Also, is the co-op scholarship only really for finance/business areas? Like are you ever going to get one in education, science or arts?

Probably not. Sounds like they will just give a generic overview with a focus on UNSW enrolment codes. All of it is fairly intuitive, but if you are not sure, then you can ask here.

Also, is the co-op scholarship only really for finance/business areas? Like are you ever going to get one in education, science or arts?
