The pharmacy is the cheapest place to buy food and drinks on lower campus.

If there is a massive line at Eddy Ave for the buses, wait until a number of buses arrive at once and pretend you're walking past to UTS until the last moment where you hop straight on.

Buses tend to be emptier in the middle of the hour and never at the hour.

Use disabled toilets. No one else does. Especially when there are so many in the law faculty and you ask yourself, "How many physically disabled kids do law?"

If you want a room/place to sit in the ASB, try the floors above Lv2. No guarantee there will be a space but those floors tend to be quieter.

Socialise now if you're a first year as it gets harder to make friends after second year.

good stuff, heres some more

use the top bus stop. the ratio of 891's to students at the top bus stop is way better than the ratio of 895's to students at the anzac parade bus stop. (the route from high street to central also contains less traffic ie, top bus stop is quicker)

dont bother dipping your mymulti at eddy avenue/anzac parade if none of those guys are looking, just walk past. dont waste time

never use a bathroom on the ground or 1st floors. take a lift up a few levels, the bathrooms are (generally) cleaner up there (doesnt work in the library)

Don't get off on the level other people in the lift are getting off at, you'll probaly end up competing with them for a spot.
Walk down the right side of the library looking to your left for a spot, don't bother looking on both sides as you're walking down, look for a spot on the other side when walking back - walk down stairs, repeat.

Waiting for a pool table at unibar? Think you're smart and go to the back of roundhouse? Most of the tables are missing balls, damaged and like to alternate between when it wants to steal your coins.

Never leave laptop unattended

Crime rates higher in upper campus

Student lounge, unibar, level 3 library: No one studies there, don't bother

Happy hour from 5pm

ASB and probably many other places never closes if you have swipe access. Security do sometimes pay a visit, so don't forget your ID

IDs do not need to be taken out of wallets to work on swipe access places like student lounge

and may even work through thin clothing like some trackies

Matthew's food court is pretty good, I reccommend the curry place. The kebab shop is overpriced and average, as is the egyption(?) place on the upper end on the left.
Ignore eveyone's bitching about the stairs, I go from college (anzac pde) to upper campus usually 2 or 3 times a day, the stairs are really not that bad. I believe the quad and basser steps are marginally faster but I prefer the uniwalk as I like the lesser amount of stairs.

Perhaps the most important tip: rum and coke on tap at the rege goes from $3.50 to $4.50 after midnight...get in quickly.
The kebab place isn't very good.

I would say the main walkway stairs are faster than Basser steps myself, plus threes less of them and they are a more reasonable size, not half size steps which are awkward.

I don't drink Rum & Coke, although I've never noticed the Rege's prices changing much over the night.
