Hi! I will be entering as an international student in 2013 and I am conflicted between Master of Commerce (Extension) in UNSW and Master of International Business in USyd?

Which is better in terms of crowd, social life, studies and employability?

Thank you very much. :)
Crowd - What do you mean?

Social Life - the many clubs and societies at USyd make the social life at Uni one of the best in Sydney. And the numerous bars offer a great place to eat, relax and unwind with friends, and also, Manning is a great place where many cool bands perform on weekends and sometimes mid-week, plus theatre sports every thursday at 1 makes it a wonderful entertainment hub to meet people and hang with friends.

Studies - I don't know about that degree specifically.

Employability - I don't know about that degree specifically.

Also, what is the percentage of Asian students in both univ? Thank you.
UNSW would have more Asian students I think, whereas USyd seems like more of a mix.

Hope this helps. :)

USyd has great academics! The academics actually try to relate to you - and at times it makes you feel uncomfortable but hey, they tried. Social life is a buzz and the campus is big and open + we are only a 5min bus ride from the City (Central) and a short trip from Newtown for cheap lunches. =D

Hahaha! Exactly. That is why I want someone from USyd to talk. Lol
I'm also Filipino. I went to Aus before when I was 20 - TAFE, it was a good experience. There's not a lot of asians then. I went back in 2007 to do my Masters in IT at qsld uni, it was a bad experience - a very expensive mistake. I literally dropped out. A second or third tier uni in the Philippines will probably be a better deal than qld uni. Also, the demographic of intl students has literally shifted to just 1 or 2 dominant groups. Not cool anymore.

Thankfully, I qualify to become part of USyd's first cohort for its inaugural MBA program in 2013. I'm now an oz citizen.

Go to USyd, it's the better deal. For socialising, there are far superior crowd outside of uni - if this is what you are really after given that ur from UA&P.

In my opinion, it really doesn't matter too much between UNSW and USyd (comparing to other unis is a different story) because they are both quite good, in general.

For me, as I live in the west, USyd is better since it's easier to get to but that's pretty much the deciding factor for me.

The walk is 10 minutes max, and if you want you can go to central and catch a bus which is also 10 minutes max.

As a UNSW student I would like to recommend UNSW but to be honest I don't really see any big differences bewteen two. It really depends on which atmosphere you enjoy more.

I go to UNSW simply because I do business degree and I like the architectural style of UNSW more.
