The UNSW information site says all courses will be fee based, and there will be only a small percentage of Singaporean students (maximum 30% from memory).

bcoz singapore's national language is English too
so we would be learning in English
so its same as Austarlia..
and since singapore will have mostly asians
i see no difference from the UNSW in australia ..

ROFL ROFL.. had to bump this old topic because I saw it mentioned recently in the papers..

I think it's meant to be like how in Malaysia you can get a degree from Cambridge or Oxford, etc.. I don't mean by bribing- I mean by correspondance sortof thing but with a small uni. I'd be interested to see how UNSW Singapore looks- Singapore UNI seems to be the main one over there...

On a sidenote- I thought it was interesting that they advertise (quite heavily) Macquarie University and some Queensland University (forgot the name now)... claim they are the best universities in Australia!

UNSW Singapore was/is designed by some top-notch kook, so it should look grand. I suppose 'should' is the key word.

As long as UNSW Singapore is good- it means Australian UNSW degrees will be highly regarded over there ... right?

I don't think we can go to UNSW in Singapore though?... as in- without being full fee paying? Unless they have some kind of exchange program running...

Edit: Wait a minute.. isn't it a bit ironic if someone from NSW wants to go to Singapore to attend UNSW?
