UTS or Sydney Uni? (1 Viewer)

can you guys tell me the pros and cons of both unis? i cant decide which one id rather go to, they both have the course i want...

It depends on which course you're after - each university is good at different things so there is no 'this uni is better' type answer.

yeah im with kami there...there are courses at UTS where USYD dont offer and courses at USYD where UTS dont offer, but nonetheless, both UTS and USYD are great unis

i would say communications and engineering go to UTS
Commerce and Law-USYD

Actually, I don't know. USyd is pretty cool, much better than UNSW. So that's all I can offer.

there's nothing dirty about defending or not defending any university. unsw and usyd are both australian universities, unless you have some other agenda.

The distance from Central to UTS is the same as Redfern to USYD right?

Pros.

Big, good-looking campus. Breathe the fresh air.

Great people, really decent-looking too.

Diversity (there's something for everyone regardless of your interests)

Big range of courses

Cons.

Too big in some cases. (you may have to be sprinting between classes)

High cost of living. (I suppose UTS is the same)

Too many construction sites.

all usyd has is newtown and ur weird if ur not weird in newtown

We have Broadway as well, about five minutes away.

And the consumeristic delights of Wentworth. Mmm, overpriced stationery and dodgy hot dogs.
