UWS or UTS?! (1 Viewer)

I received an atar of 72 and got an early offer into University of Western Sydney into Bachelor of Communications. However, I've heard some really negative stuff about the course at UWS and that is frightening me to go there. My plan was to do a year at UWS and then transfer to the highly regarded communications course at UTS the next year. Or should i skip this and enrol in uts insearch where i go straight to second year of the exact course i wanted after a year of studying at uts. Please guys would love all your opinions and experiences!

Wouldn't you get credited for your UWS units and go into second year anyways?

I guess it depends how much Insearch costed and the ~guarantee~ of getting into the course.

Are you eligible for any bonus points? UTS is pretty generous with them and I think some automatically apply to you without even needing an application. I would stray towards UTS because the Communications faculty is quite renowned in the industry.

Definitely UWS then.

Put UTS Comm first pref
and take UWS off your list (you already got an offer) and enrol in that now.
Then see what other offers you get and make up your mind before uni starts.
