I think they are a little bit, but not so blatantly obvious as the english ones. On sbs coverage, theres only richie benaud and slats commentating who are aussie and the other 90 are english....

Yuo guys are poofs. At least we got the Ashes. Channel 9 are poofs for not buying this, but thats their problem - and personally, this Channel 4 coverage is awesome. And so what about le Tour? le Tour is more awesome than a predicatble test series which will be an Aussie 2-1 (AusAusDrDrEng) anyway. As for commentators, they should have somehow got O'Keefe, he's much more hilarious than that "hanging loose, yeah yeah" Jungle.

can u actually sit down and watch hour after hour of le tour de france? And how is this test series predictable when england played so well in the 1 day series and got aus all out for 190???

Le tour de france is the most shittest sport on aus tv, id rather watch rugby league then that (and thats saying alot)

SBS is showing the Ashes because a Commercial TV Network has always broadcasted the Ashes - as they are considered of some sort of cultural importance.

ABC used to do it, Channel 7 did it in 2001, and now SBS are doing it. Thats it.

Incase you haven't realised, Commercial TV makes up for 98% of viewers, with only .5% watching Fox Sports 1 or 2.
