newtons measure weight, kilograms measure mass.
Kilograms. Mass is measured by newtons. Weight is gravity plus the mass.dan.121212 said:question 58 - the one about killograms and newtons and it asked what is the scale of wieght - wat was the answer?
Yeah, but i think the question was what is the name of the change in speed and/or direction of an object. That would be acceleration.justbecause said:I put velocity. Velocity is the speed of direction or something like that.
did ur teacher tell u in the test or aftr the test hmmmdan.121212 said:i wrote acceleration but my teacher said it was displacement
Yeah I was stumped by it. I thought there was some error or something that there was no indicator of the units. But then I was all oh. . . OH! NewtonsiEdd said:That newtons/kg question, what exactly was the question?
I put kilograms.. I completely forgot about the weight thing. *Sigh*. Now I can be slightly worried for a month.
i'm pretty sure that acceleration was right...thats what i put, coz i remember our teacher specifically telling us that acceleration could be both a change in speed and a change in direction...thank god, coz i wouldn't have known otherwise.Miagi said:did ur teacher tell u in the test or aftr the test hmmm
Hark, I told you not to study too much. I mean you took 3 whole days off school plus the weekend to study for the school certificate. Me, I took Sunday to study and I think I did pretty good.Harkaraj said:English was GAY!!
Science was an easy peice of crap, I studied way too bloody much and the exam was bullshit-gunning for 95+
haha, I noticed that aswell. I guess they were getting a little too comfortable eh? :rofl:justbecause said:That reminds me...some of the supervisors at my exam were walking about bare foot in the hall. Talk about comfort :\
I remember some lady giving kinda like death stares or something and shaking her head a bit. I wander what she was thinking...this kid's going to fail, fail, fail, pass, fail.
