Area 7 Matt Riley-
Hey, someone else is reading it too ^.^ hehehe.
I'm about half way through. Just finished reading Ice Station which was good by Matt Riley too, this is like a continuation of the adventures of Schofield and all that. Although, theres a book inbetween Ice station and Area 7 - Temple which doesn't have Schofield, Gant and Mother in it.

Reading Lolita in Tehran
only a little way into it, but great so far (except that the author keeps annoying me by asserting that fiction is am ideology free zone....!)
argh I know what you mean I had to stop reading it because of that

Just finished 'It's Superman!' by Tom de Haven.

Am just starting 'The Princess Bride' by William Goldman. I never made it through the Chronicles of Narnia.

I'm reading Gold - the last collection of writings by Isaac Asimov. I've just read two collections of his short stories. So all up, in the last couple of weeks I've read eighty or more short stories, not counting the rest of the stuff in this last book.

Brave New World, Aldous Huxley- what a book. Its pretty hard to follow but the general ideas conveyed make you think about what lies ahead.

Joe Cinque's Consolation
Very sad book. Not fiction,
about a 1997 Court case in Canberra
Joe Cinque was a victim to a brutal totally odd murder, it's the story of what happened from beginning to the end of the court case from the point of view of the author who sat in the court cases. She reviews Ahn Singhs (the murderer) Mental state, and questions things alot.
Very good, I'd suggest you read it -nodnod-
Not for hte faint hearted.
It's kinda very freakishly showing canberra in a very bad light.
