I've read Kokoda. Very interesting read and I applaud Fitzsimons for going to all that effort. Thoroughly enjoyable.
I tried to read Book Thief a few years ago, but I found that it was aimed at like 10 year olds, so I quickly gave up on it and moved on.

I've read the first two. The Book Thief was a good book, I guess there weren't enough big words to keep moll satisfied. The Day of the Triffids was interesting as well, though the ending was rather anticlimatic. I much preferred The Chrysalids (same author, utterly different book).

I finished reading Tess of the D'Urbervilles, which was fantastic, and I'm now reading Dreamcatcher by Stephen King. I've only read one King book before (Pet Semetary) and I forgot how awesome his writing is.
