I'll get either a Holden Commodore or Ford Falcon as my first car. Bit big I know, but easy to find parts and has a nice powerful engine. Might be a bit harsh on the petrol but there's nothing LPG can't solve. :)

Some cheap, crappy old car that's probably older than me. But it has to be a Toyota.

90's 2.2 Camrys are barely better on fuel than a 3.6 commodore.

Still goes through about twice the consumption of most small cars.

You linked to the 3.8, not the 3.6 commodore. Big difference.

Also, neither of those cars will actually do anything close to those test figures.

listen to this gentleman.

why is everyone going for commies/falcons? ineffeciant 3.8/4l was good in the 80s and 1990s when petrol was 40c/L not now. more so when 17/18 yo.

go for a 94-98 camry itl last much longer than oz made rust bucket:bomb:
Yeah, but the Camry hasn't got that Commodore/Falcon grunt and it's not rear wheel drive either.

why do either of these things matter?

commodore and ford 6s arent particularly grunty either lol

Same with Lexus cars i think its ES200? not sure but the sedan model is pretty much a camry with different countours and interior and leather similiar engine.
You mean the Lexus ES300?

The only thing that it shares with the Toyota Camry is the chassis frame and the V6 engine. Apart from that it's all different. Doors, panels and interior is all different.

When you need to tow a boat it matters. Or if you want a car with some awesome performance.... Camrys simply can't beat a Falcon or Commodore for power.... with the exception of the new Aurion. Also, with rear wheel drive you also have 50/50 balance.
