yeah about $20 for single albums seem reasonable.
however, if you want cheap cds wait for christmas when all the department stores compete with each other thus lowering the prices...
last year, i think big w sold top 30 albums for $18 and then some cds for $15
if you want popular cds then go to big w, kmart etc rather than sanity. sanity sells them for abt $30 whereas kmart etc sell them for abt $20
I don't listen to top thirty music;).

By the way, I think anywhere between $15 and $20 is a reasonable price. Anything above $25 is too much in my opinion and I won't usually buy the album:(.

I said it once and I'm hoping not to say it again next time.

1. download win mx.
2. download an album with 'albw' suffix after nickname
3. download albw extractor
4. extract your album using the extractor
5. you're done

you're a tool

why don't you support the artists if you like music so much? oh that's right, you don't like music.

i'm so broke. i have to get most of my cds and vinyl through import on the net. i refuse to let myself spend more than 50 dollars on one cd. fuck the exchange rate

If you want the classic albums (whether it'd be metal, rock, pop, or shit like that), then you'd get it for free on the net.

I use WinMX for filesharing

I download an album as one mp3 file and i extract it using a program
very easy to use, it's where i get all my 100+ metal/hard rock/classic rock albums from.

I have never bought a single album in all my life, my first album will either be marilyn mansons greatest hits or judas priests new album releasing early next year.

I don't think theres much of the new stuff though, worth a try.
Your a fucking cheapskate.

Firstly, when I used to use WinMX it was pretty bad, you had to wait so long for a song to download. Anyway, that is besides the point, firstly, a lot of the bands I listen to are Indie bands and I want to support them so that they can continue to make music. Secondly, I also prefer the real thing:).

don't you hate it when you pay 25~30 for a cd that you bought on impulse after hearing one great song on the radio, and find out that the rest of the album is crap?

Yes I hate that, so I try not to do it anymore. I also hate it when you buy a CD and about a week later you see it for a cheaper price. Also when you buy a CD and after a while your taste in music changes and you don't like that CD anymore:(.

How fast is it?
It is the fastest program I have used so far, and I have used a fair few (Soulseek not included) but I can't really tell you an exact figure because I am usually downloading multiple songs at once and am on a 56 Kbps modem:(.
