I think it's awesome. Definitely the data I was craving for in December! :)

the only problem is, if a student doesn't figure out how to guess aligned marks well, they're essentially screwed :)

Are we sure this is the final product?

It doesn't seem very customiseable, though it is amazingly impressive.

It is an evolving service. We will be improving on it throughout the year.

What else did you want to customise?

I think it's excellent! very clever! Just a couple of comments:

Any mark I enter in SOR1 tells me I have got a band 1 (yet the percentiles are correct)

And on the results profile it would be handy to have the subjects next to the marks. It just saves counting down and matching it with the marks on the left.

Anyway, I like how it shows the percentile, +/- scaling, scaled mark, what's counted and how much was in the uai. i think we have a generation of year12 who may actually understand the scaling process coming up!

edit: i am looking at the pie graph. it's great! i can't believe some of my lower marks contributed to the uai as much as the higher ones

It is actually meant to be that way; I'm now discovering that it isn't displaying quite as I thought it would for resolutions of 1024x768 and below.

I'm on a school computer right now so I don't know if it's the computer or an actual problem but on the pg I get after I enter my courses, when I run my mouse across the menu at the top, the pull-down boxes in the 'Year' table dissapear. It's trivial, but it looks funny is all. :)

Mmm... we noticed that during testing - haven't figured out how to fix it yet. :p

It is damn good....

I'll have to work hard to catch up.

I regret that you left out reverse though.

I'm just wondering do you have any data that isn't freely avaliable to the public?

it repeats the numbers (scaled marks) above in a graphical form

the wedge that sticks out says what is the best subject in terms of scaled marks
