so then i would get the raw mark of my exam? Would it be moderated or scaled since subjects are harder then others?

Everyone gets their own aligned exam mark reported to them in December.

UAC does the scaling on raw marks.

I have a question vaguely related to aligning and scaling.
Just say that you tied with someone in terms of internal marks in a subject, and were both ranked, say, 6th. You've got the same internal mark.
Come HSC, one completely screws up, and the other does spectacularly well.
Because the two people were ranked equal on internal assessments, would they still get the same external mark, even though one bombed out and one flew through it? And if so, how would they work the marks out there?
