That's 13 units.

Would be crazy of me to take up the Philosophy distinction course on top of that? (I've already forwarded an 'expression of interest' - but can't be sure I'll be accepted until the end of the year.)

then they would have wasted a whole lot of time doing the HARDEST subjects in the HSC.

whereas someone doing HUMANITIES would get an EASY set of subjects to study for..

Then they are doing a minimum of 14 units because only 6 of the science units can count.

Then you will get <90 in HSC if you do not spend >5hours/night
Umm my brother got >90 with Phys Chem, 3U maths, English Advanced and Ancient History with about 2 hrs a day study prior to the HSC, btw, it was one of the units of Ancient History that wasnt counted ;)

well for yr 11
*3u maths
*3u english
*2u legal
*2u eco
*2u modern
<12units>

but for next term (only one week away =S) i have two combos and i cant decide...
1.
4u maths
2u english
3u modern
2u eco
2u legal
<13 units>

OR

2.
4u maths
3u english
3u modern
2u eco

<12 units>

now you see, problem is im shaky with the 3u ext english course, postmodernism seems to be a topic beyong my level of intellegence, so if i drop it, id take legal..but then thats 13u which sounds like alot, and i dont know if i would be able to cope. Then theres the whole what is i screw up 4u maths...omg i have a week to decide...helP:(
