To do ACST305 you have to do stat272 and to do stat272 you have to do math136.

riveting...
lol. If you get too estatic now, your excitement might be gone when semester starts! Best to bottle it up for your first tut, then let the *happy vibes* out in small bursts over the semester. That way, when you have all of your assignments due and you're up at 3 in the morning questioning why uni is evil and whether you really are a sadomasochist (seeing as you ARE giving them $3000 a semester to do this to you), there'll be a sudden happy burst and you won't feel like throwing your computer out the window and, what the hell, lunging into the night with it

That is a definite concern! I think of even greater concern is me getting so GOSH DARN EXCITED about all my Maths and Eco goodness that it becomes all I talk about! I can definitely see it pervading my dreams =p. It'll become all I think about... and if I spend too long away from my lovely macroeconomics textbook then I'll start getting the shakes... haha... I'm sure I'll be able to battle it out... though it's very different from my creative writing degree from last year!!! No matter what I see no way of avoiding SOMETHING going out that window this year... I can kinda see my books and lecture notes taking the fall... haha

Oh... and it seems I'm paying them $4500 to do this to me per semester... *dies on spot*

Well do it if you're into it. .. .. But I was into it, before I did it.. then i dropped my ahst major because ahst104 scarred me so much (Ok, not entirely, but partially!).
Its interesting, but what the course covers is HUGE, it covers several periods of history, which in my opinion was too much for one subject. The assignments and exam wasn't pleasant. at all.

There are far more interesting ahst1xx subjects to be doing in the second semester than this. If its any indication, ahst104 is a much, much smaller class than most of the other ahst1xx classes. Though that just might mean not that many people are interested in it.

It probably isn't as horrible as I just made it sound like

Oh yeah, if you haven't gotten the reading material for this course I have the required texts and a few recommended ones you could borrow.
