Any helpful tips for things to do in year 11 to get good marks and things not to do??

Do not overstudy like its the frickin HSC so that term 4 comes and you're all burnt out. Pace yourself.
Experiment with different methods of study, places to study, time of the day to study etc. that way when year 12 comes, you're all ready to go azn mode
Create a timetable and learn to stick to it.
Learn time management.
Experiment with ways that help you to stop procrastinating.
Overall, prelim is just that: Preliminary HSC. Its all about setting yourself up for year 12

Learn how to write English Essays!

Hone your skills and weaknesses in year 11 because you'll need some of the year 11 stuff in year 12 (e.g. Chemistry, English, Maths)
