Haha yeah, of course it's not the end of the world, many people do go on to be successful without a "good" UAI, but my asian parents would definitely say otherwise.

And those asian parents who aren't like that, are just exceptionally cool =P
ha ha. very true.

for me anything above 85 is definitely achievable and i'm content with. i can definitely get over 95 if i try hard though.

But with my Asian parents.....99? Please?
It's better if you aim as high as possible because you might even get a scholarship which really helps financially.

Oh yeah i should eh. Navitas Scholarship: If i get 70% in my final school marks...whatever that means, 70 UAI? Band 4s ?

Though my UAI aim depends on my mood, upset = 50, happy = 80

:p

i don't think asian parents should be your main driving force to get a high UAI...
Hai Liz...too bad because you know the nature of asian parents...

No UAI aim as of yet...no idea what courses I'd like to do. I'll just try to get as high as I can, hmm

I wonder, are the numbers you are choosing here for course Entry requirements, scholarship requirements or ego/expectations of others?

I'm not trying to criticize, rather I'm just curious?

100 UAI. 110 UAI with the bonus points system would be even better to boost my ego against dumbshit faggots e.g. H4rdc0re.

Realistically I want a UAI of over 85+, over 90+, plus i get some disadvantage bonus, will be awesome cause I want to get into a course with COmmerce especially at UNSW. Gonna apply for early enrty at UOW Commerce/Law which needs about 90 UAI.

My subjects and Results from Prelims:
Ancient History 89%
Business Studies 82%
Economics 83%
Adv English 73%
Maths 78%
Maths Ext 75%
(picking up ext history)

Would these marks be good enough?

wow... does everybody here want to become a doctor or something? Judging by most comments everyone wants a UAI of over 95. Personally, i would be stoked with something around 85 - give or take a couple, cause then i could become an occupational therapist =]

HSC Courses:

Advanced English
Extension 1 English
General Mathematics
Biology
Ancient History
PDHPE
Studies of Religion
