I learned Paramore's cover of Foo Fighters' My Hero first. Oh the days when I struggled playing C.. xD

even more for c-g-am-f, imo .. and yeah that cover is easy as shit, especially the rhythm part

Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley's version, minus the dodgey bit near the end where he holds that note for like three hours and plays over the chords faster and faster. Much easier than it sounds, and really pretty :]

what? maybe i've just been looking at the wrong versions .. the chords themselves are pretty easy to play, but all the picking etc, seems like a weird song choice for a very first song to learn
