Your statement is incorrect.

I can talk to women. I cannot however tell one woman in question how i feel.

Thus making your statement void.

Who gives a shit about customer service? Unless you're an absolute tard you can diagnose 90% of problems yourself.
The problem is poor customer service is often indicative of cost-cutting in other areas (lack of adequate bandwidth, long waiting periods to repair faults, billing/usage errors etc). I've only ever heard of the first occurring with TPG- for a lot of customers in off-peak their connection slows to a crawl - but I would rather pay slightly more for a connection that seems more reliable and consistent.

Not to mention that I don't need 150GB a month.

Not really, 20gb Up AND down for 80 bucks a month? If we weren't getting the bundled deal we'd be off in a flash.

+1 for whirlpool.

If you want cheap internets and don't want to get anal raped, best do some research first. If you see an ISP/plan you like go on the whirlpool forums and see what other people say about them.

There isn't one plan that will suit everybody, obviously. I work for Bigpond and I'm probably the last person to recommend them, as they are hells expensive, unless you can get cable. But if you have a Telstra homephone their offers can be quite attractive (with a contract though.)

Basically you get what you pay for, and no matter what anyone says, customer service is important. Oh and some ISP's have a connection fee, so watch out for that.

Telstra and Optus will always fail.

Big companies ripping people off, that's all they ever do.

yes i agree with the whirlpool suggestion - it really is worth looking into

Vodafone.

Free wireless modem.

5GBs = $40 a month.

Don't have to be a vodafone customer to join.

am i the only one still on the old optus cable plans?

i'm currently on the
12gb Onpeak
24GB Offpeak plan.

and it 's not enough to be honest. we were thinkin of getting the TPG premium one (50gb onpeak and 100gb offpeak or something like that) but our phoneline was optus .. and it needs to be telstra or something. :S
that's what the tech reppy said.

oh well. we'll live. but why can't we get internet like the U.S or India? they don't have any download quotas.
and Australia is like gonnab e one of the top few countries regarding bandwidth consumed.

=_=
