Hey!

I was just thinking about what UAI i want.. as I always am..

I thought people could post here:
1. What you want to get
2. What you thing you will get
3. What course you want to do and where... (in relation to what UAI you need)

Ill start:
1. I want to get anything over 90 and ill be so stoked if i do..
2. But i wont because im stupid and hardly ever get over 90 in exams.. so i think somewhere in the early 80's
3. I want to do business at UTS or Syd.. but its too high so im thinking ill end up at woolongong... eew..

You don't necessarily need to get over 90 in your exams to get a UAI above 90. If your courses scale well and you maintain your highest possible rank, then it is possible. My cousin got a UAI of 90 in 2003 and he didn't get any band 6 results.

Wow im really inspired by what you said A I.
I like to set low expectaions for myself. To quote Jenny Holzer "Low expectations are good protection". Id say im getting mid 70's. Yeah. as for what id like to get? Anything above 85.

yes, becuase that means you can get into any course you wanted, first preference. and you'll probably make it into history as one of the few who have (has that ever happened before?)

2. i have no idea. according to sam based on my 2004 results and my current marks i'm looking at 92-93.

1. 95+ would be awesome!! I would be the happiest person alive for a few weeks.

2. 80-95. huge gap there, but we havent even done 50% of our INTERNAL assesments so its hard to say.

3. Psychology anywhere but sydney. Preferebly ANU!! UAI = 85

If I would have got much more than I did I would be going to UTS now simply because it is considered a better uni than UOW. But UOW is where I wanted to go. So I am happy I didn't do as well as I could have.

Dream UAI = 100
UAI aim = 100
what i think i'll get: I will manipulate my mind into thinking i can get 100 that way i'll work to achieve 100 that way if i don't get 100 i will at least get close...

the UAI i need is somewhere between the 92-94 range...

course: Bachelor of medical science at USYD or UNSW

I got 98.1 that was pretty hot, went in with the 'being happy with over 90 attitude' tried my hardest (sought of) and got a pleasant surprise.

The UAI I need: 83 (media and communications or Arts at UNSW)
The UAI I want: 83 (No point wanting more than I need in my opinion)
The UAI I will probably, hopefully end up getting: 89

- BA adv. (Philosophy & pure math) 98.85 at USyd (into post-grad med ... but that comes later)
