heterosexual = opposite sex attraction
homosexual = same sex attraction
bisexual = both men and women
transexual = think man dressing up as a woman and vice versa (Miriam for example)
pansexual = try anything once
transgender = male born into a female body and vice versa
At my school there were many lesbians and bisexuals (it was a single sex school despite the fact the boys school was next door) and there was alot of immaturity amougnst the lower grades but as you get older you get used to it and its normal. Of course no one liked seeing that stuff in the playground (het, homo or otherwise). But out of my year alone there were 10 or so openly non-heterosexuals (open to the entire school) and several who were just 'out' to friends. Tho in the boys school being anything but straight was sorta a no-no, tho there were a few they just weren't very open about it.
