Not very impressive among some of you guys but I am happy with it. I find a WAM above 90 incomprehensible, let alone above 95:eek:!
haha dude, it's only because the top guys are posting. I'm pretty sure that getting a 6.04 GPA will get me entry into golden key (top 15% of uni students, from memory)

Good luck getting entry into The Golden Key Club with a GPA of 6. I finished last year with a GPA of 6.25 and didn't get a letter;).

I haven't got one either and i have definitely been in the top 15% of my course with a GPA ~6.2 for 2 out of 3 years and ~6.1 for the other one. Maybe they know i'm too poor to ever join so don't bother sending a letter. Being on the dean's merit list is enough for me. Is there some sort of merit list for the faculty of business SoCal?

I don't think The Golden Key Club really means anything anyway, so I'm not worried about it. When I was in the Faculty of Science and Information Technology last year I got placed on the Faculty Commendation List but since I was transfered to Finance this year I don't know if the Faculty of Business and Law has a similar list but I would assume so:).

That excel document lied to me. My GPA isn't 6.05, it's 6.1.

Liars. :(

I am a UoW student doing CompSc/Arts.

That is after six semesters of work.

Actually. .. I think most of my friends woul have had 90+ WAM had they only done straight commerce. The law drags almost everybody down a lot.

I've gotten an 89, and 2 87's, and they would have all been top ten-ish.

Well... because that's what me and my friends tend to get.

This semester I got 92 in my most important final year finance subject. Rest is law subjects.

Another actuarial friend got 95/95/92/91.

Another Comm/Law friend got 89/93. Rest are law subjects.

There really are heaps of people who get 90s in Commerce.. but put it this way... all my friend, including myself, are all the scholarship holders and 99.7+ VCE students.

Yeah but TER isn't necessarily indicative of uni results, like the majority of 98ish students I know are now on credit or very low distinction averages.

Hoping to drag my GPA up to about 5.5 by this time next year (and so will be on course for entry into the Honours stream)
