You can specialise in Aviation with the RAAF in the reserves, and then possibly join the RFDS, provided that you have completed a fellowship/college speciality such as General Practice, etc.

If I don't get into Dentistry then either Law or Health Science Paramedic. Otherwise I've been looking at the B. Oral Health Dental Technology and Masters in Dental Prosthetics at Griffith. Dunno what a Dental Prosthetist's job involves, though I assume It's similar to a hygienist or something?

sounds something like making false teeth, or artificial things to fix problems in people's mouths. maybe something to do with orthodontic braces, plates? not too sure though..

but considering my parental units, i would probably do medical science and then try to worm my way into a med course. hospitals beware!

why? Their both freaking demanding as hell; and the only job that combines the two is being a patent attorney.

I still think rural entry is unfair, but whatev. My ATAR was 98.05, and my UMAT was 180 (91st percentile), and you'll prolly get in, but I won't. Good luck, though.

@ tmahendradatta - because if I don't like law (and still wish to pursue med), I can simply graduate with BSci in third yr and go do med. and I would have done subjects that would help me in GAMSAT. Otherwise, I can simply continue on with my Law degree. Plus, the way combined law degrees are structured, I don't think makes it very difficult/demanding.

My backup is B Science then postgrad. Though I'm wondering if I should do B Biomedical Science (though it is 4 years instead of 3).

ATAR is 91.05 BTW
