im also the type of person who always checks voice msgs and i will call back any number if i get a missed call as soon as i see it

I write back straight away to everyone. What is the point of waiting? SMS is meant to be quick. Not to wait around so the person doesnt think you like them or whatever the fuck

When's the right time to write back to a msg from a girl/guy you have a "thing" with (ie. in the chasing phase)?? Should you wb asap, or wait 5/10/15/20 mins?

Straight away, why wait around,unless you don't know what to write back and have to think about it.
I usually msg back straight away unless I don't know what to say that's when I think about it first.

Usually ASAP, unless I'm in the middle of something...or they're asking something that requires some thinking about. If they don't return it within say, 15-20 mins I'll usually put my phone away and won't bother worrying about it for another couple of hours.

i fill my msgs up ..so i will say ok blah blah and i will always have something to say

is it just me (or my phone), or do i often receive messages half an hour or so after they've been sent? some people think i'm always ignoring their messages

and for god's sake, just reply as soon as you see it. no one is going to try guessing why you replied 5 minuntes and 34 seconds later. even if they are, their conclusion might not even be the one you wanted them to come up with (eg. you waited 10 mins before replying to show you're cool or whatever, but they might think you spent that 10 mins editing and re-editing your text)

0 - 5 min: desperate
5 - 10 min: easy
10 - 15 min: acceptable
15 - 20 min: prude

Just reply whenever you damn well have something worth replying with.
