Go to the Board of Studies website - then to HSC syllabuses - click on the M for Modern History and scroll down the page until you reach the History section - I use the Word copy of the document and the Cold War is on page 73 according to the list of contents but is actually on page 76 (I don't have my hard copy of the syllabus with me as it is on my desk at school so I can't check that copy but here is the page anyway). The dot points are actually the dash points under 'Students learn about...'

– geopolitical developments: Vietnam, Sino-Soviet split, the Middle East
– features and consequences of détente
4 Renewal and end of the Cold War
– Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and its impact
– US attitudes and policies under Reagan
– Soviet attitudes and policies under Gorbachev
– disarmament agreements 1987–1991
– collapse of communism in Eastern Europe and the USSR
