Well,I dont have to wait for my UAI anymore(altho I expected it will be at least 90+).My Visa will end at 31/12 and I wont have offer until 5/1 therefore cant extend it in time. Now I am left with only 1 choice: study TAFE(or go back to my home and never have chance to come back) ,wow, how fair is it?
There goes my UAI .=(

Wow that sucks.

Try making some phone calls to the right people, keeping asking for alternatives!

I'm sure they can do something about it, or you can defer studies till 2005.

Exactly, a Visa means you can't be in the country anymore darlin.....

Its no one's fault but yours though, you should have foreseen this problem and rectified ages ago.

They've changed the law so it would be really hard to apply oversea.
At TAFE ,I can get eCOE before 31/12 to extend my stay.
well, i suppose thats all 'bout it.

lol-I thought you were talking about a Visa as in a credit card.

Well, If you do end up going to Tafe instead, you can try to transfer to UNI from there after a year...but that might be quite hard, depending on what course you were planning on doing.
Hmmm, that does suck. :( Maybe you could try calling the actual UNI that runs the course and explain the situation, and see if they can give you any advice?

Enrol in tafe... then wait for your uni offers... then accept one of your uni offers, and drop out of the tafe course you enrolled in. Does that work?

Don't forget you will need to pay tuition fee first then get the eCOE .... so ask them their (TAFE) refund policy.
Another way to extend student visa while waiting for uni offer, you will have to contact immigration ( if your visa expires in 2 weeks time , you better hurry up ) and they'll probably give you a short term visa like 3 months or so untill you get your offer and pay the tuition fee . Good luck......

in anyway My Luv have to pay fees for uni, since he is on visa.
only permanent residents and citisens can do HECS courses in uni.

My Luv dont worry i went through the same thing, my visa expired and i stayed in the country for (2 months) i forgot to reapply, nothing happened they just gave me other type of visa with detention, the main thing is i wasnt kicked out.
