Which Phone? [D900, V3xx, 6288, N76, Shine] (1 Viewer)

ok, so I need a new phone since the "5" & "cancel" buttons on my Motorola E398 suddenly decided to stop working ... had the phone for like 2 and a half years so was bout time to upgrade neway ...

been doing some browsing for the last week, and im flooded with new phones and features ... not sure which one is the "best":

* Samsung D900
Pro - thinnest slide phone, Con - slider is (supposedly) a bit dodgy

* Motorola V3xx
Pro - one of the thinnest flip phones, Con - the razr's are everywhere, all the razr's look soo similar (dont want it to become like the whole ipod thing)

* Nokia 6288
Pro - Professional/corporate/business looking, Con - "boring" looking, LOL

* Nokia N76
Pro - very nice looking, Con - a chicks phone??

* LG Shine
Pro - again, very nice looking, Con - will it be as crap as the Chocolate??

sorry about having like 5 phones to compare guys, but I just cant decide ....

From memory the N76 is basically the upgrade of the N70 (which I have). In which case it's certainly not a chicks phone.
Very durable, stable, etc.

but, how is the battery life?
camera quality? (its only 2MP compared to the D900 which is like 3.2 or something)
Is the slider thing smooth or like "loose"?
oh and I haven't actually seen the phone in person but I read that it looks cheap (coz it has like a plastic cover instead of like "metal")?? >> not sure if thats true or not though ... comments??

Battery life: Is PRETTY good...the memory card that comes with is 512 mb and you can upgrade to 2gb... I don't even use my MP3 anymore (my sister taxes it anyway! lol) It doesn't take long to recharge anyway.
Camera quality: Yeah it's 2mp... It's REALLY good during the day time, it's got a flash and stuff but I don't like the quality at night... it catches the scene but not as good as a 3.2mp camera would. I DO NOT like the D900...my friend has it... the screen is much more smaller with the D900 and the phone is thinner... it's good I guess but maybe because I love my phone so much haha. 6288 is really practical...
Cheap?!??! NOooo my phone cost me (and my parents haha) 590 bucks. It DOES NOT look cheap. It's really shiny/glossy. The Sliding feature is mad... it's not *loose*, If you take care of it, it won't start bombing up on you anyway. The d900 looks cheaper (HATE THAT PHONE!)
LOL FURTHER COMMENTS: I LOVE MY PHONE... I was going to get the nokia 3250 but it's a BRICK... the N series is good too.

The N series is reasonably brickish. But they're extremely good phones.

I like bricks. They're harder to lose.

i've had an old crappy nokia and a new se and the nokia beats the se, hands down.

I owned a Samsung D500 for about two years and it was a f**king great phone and as such I have a pretty high opinion of Samsung phones (and products in general). They are no smartphone however and are limited by this in terms of functionality compared to a Nokia.

No. Do not go for any of the V3 release's.

a bit boring, but not Professional/corporate/business Those phones tend to be candybar form factor.
Fairly decent phone, camera is a bit shit. Every man and his dog as one thanks to Three.

Seems like a Nokia is for you. Symbian 60 Interface can be a bit of a puzzle at times but in all it's pretty useable.
Camera's in the Nokia aren't great however.
Have you thought about a SE? They have unmatched image quality, (in camera phone terms) and are pretty good to use.

What do you want in your phone? The ability to listen to music? Take great picture? Slim and hawt looking?
