The way I see it, there are 8 uni’s in Australia that are ‘prestigious’ and they are the Go8 uni’s. Who is the best out of those is debatable and will vary across discipline, time and a whole range of factors. So who is “best” out of these is probably not that important.

The rest of the uni’s are there to make up the numbers.

I reckon if you only want to work intrastate or within a local area around where you graduate then any uni is OK really.

However if you want to go interstate or overseas, you can't go past a Go8 uni. If you don't go to one then *generally speaking* your chances are....*no comment*...
