i recently went to sydney university's degree in a day where one of my electives was psychology. i was surprised when she mentioned that regardless of any university, be it unsw, macquarie or sydney, the standard of teaching is the same.

which begs the question, which university is really the best for psychology ?

unsw said on their site that they attract the most funding and research of any university, while macquarie lays claim that they have one of the most internationally recognised faculties. and sydney... is sydney !

There's no absolute objective means of comparing teaching quality in undergraduate degrees. There's no absolutely superior way of designing a course.

Research is great, but doesn't have any direct impact on the quality of your undergraduate education.

Most undergraduate degrees in Australia probably are pretty much interchangeable experiences.

you can go to 7 different universities around australia and each one will say "We are the best for psychology because..." and each will base the decision on different criteria whether it be most funding, best teacher student ratio or something else. and ofcourse, the criteria they pick will be based on which criteria they are coming 1st in
