i prefer the truth because i am smart and ive probably allready figured it out allready, so if u lie to me i am gonna know it and its just gonna make things worse, and in the event i dont find out straight away, when i do iam gonna be more pissed off then if u had told the truth straight away

with girls though, easier to lie sometimes " do i look fat in this" if u tell truth the girl is shitty, if u tell a white lie she is happy so meh no1 is hurt

sometimes i'm quick on my feet, but dont like lieing to partners - it saves heartache when they find out the truth (on something big obviously)

as for being lied to/told the truth, if it's not "i slept with person xyz 10 times last week while you were sick", i *should* by rights be ok in the end (annoyed but get over it). i'd probably get pretty cut if they'd done something pretty big (eg. reading my diary), unless there was a reason behind it (eg. doing it because they thought you were hiding something)
