Big footy players go to jail if they bash up nerds. Because jail functions as a barrier to reproduction, they decrease their likelihood of passing on their genes. They also never seem to acquire behavioral adaptations to better their chances of survival in the different environment, which could pose a slight problem to their species.

On the other hand, the nerds have more chance of passing on their behavioral adaptations to their offspring, as they do not have to go to jail, and have increased chances of survival due to a more steady flow of income, hence furthering their chances of offspring production.
