40%? I thought there was a shortage of engineers? Just because you get a degree in mechatronics or whatnot doenst mean you cant get a job as something else....

Also, I come from a public selective school - i have made many friends from other schools. Perhaps the "us and them" relates more to private schools vs public.

I was going to put engineering as one of my preferences, but then i thought about all the math involved and i instantly said no.

Maths is a tool, and engineers use it to solve problems. Engineers are problem solvers. IF you dont like solving problems, dont do engineering.
