I was at last year's cruise... :D

You can still get 100% but not all the questions right; some weeks have like 3 distinctions, but now it's EVERY one. Now it's clear. :)

Its not as easy as it sounds. To actually get the 'big" prize at the end, you either need to be really capable or spend alot of time actually doing the essentially optional questions. Most people can't be fuked by term2 of the HSC especially when school work and assestments become more pressing issues. Besides, if you don't do the compulsory questions, you get kicked out with no refund.

Oh and getting 87 in chem is fine if you can manage to maintain a similar performance in your other subs.

Maybe it was a coincidence?

EDIT: just with the 100% distinction question thing, there is a loop hole to get there. even though you may not get the questions during the week at home, you could go there 30 minutes before class and ask the teacher or tutor you help you to do the questions. I came in 15 minutes early and did half of the last question so i didnt get the sticker.

Actually I just remembered that you didn't need to get all of the questions correct to get a prize. As long as you get 100% status. I got it confused because I spent so much time doing them all...

1. You can't really call that a loophole since it involves you doing the questions, which is the point of a reward scheme in the first place!

2. Oh your poor souls. Hope you enjoy the homeworks I wrote. :p Oh memories.

I think it is a loophole because some of the distinction questions may be too difficult and you wont end up finishing them so you could take that opportunity.

I havent got the sticker because I didnt finish the 2nd part of the last distinction question, i.e. I didnt deduce from the results. So sad. and on the front page says 0% reward status

What do mean by you wrote?
Does that mean you know how to do all the distinction questions?

Dude, I know how to do all the distinction questions :p. Dw, you can still get the sticker in the workshop otherwise almost no-one will be getting 100%.

BTW, mill, how's intuition? At least you could've come up with a more original name ;)

I know everything for I am omnipotent.

So, yes, that would include answers to all those questions. :)

But I'm sure there are also many capable mathematicians still lurking around who have finished their HSC who could also answer those questions without having seen them before.

And Intuition is good. The name was original when I thought of it! Well, technically not I suppose, but I had no idea that there was anything else remotely similar to its name when I came up with it. In fact, we didn't know there was anything similar to its name til several months after it was registered. I suppose that speaks volumes for whoever else may have such a name (or rather, failed to make a name with such a name!). Oh, wit.

NB: Notice I am very pc. :p No mentioning of anyone else! :)

For course. You wouldn't want to upset anyone now...
