text books arnt used much at uni so ive heard so chill

lol, but people above are saying that they have bought text books and stuff.
They dont even know if they got into the uni/course yet. What if the UAI cut off for their course went up to 99.95 or something!? How do they know what books to get anyway?
I suppose i will have to buy clothes and stationary soon.. but as for text books, i will have to wait till they tell me what books i need obviously?

I don't think anyone has said they've bought textbooks though. I said books meaning 'notepads' but someone interpreted that as textbooks.

And some of us are getting our first preferences.

i won't be excited or anything until i get my offer.

because i have preferences all over the place and a UAI that may mean i go to this place or that place PLUS i still havent been offered a creative arts place at w'gong means that when i'll be excited just to get one of my top preferences.

i have plans though for whatever happens. if i stay here or move away. actually i'm more scared than anything now

I hope whatever uni i get into, the desk things arnt too small (the ones attached to chairs) coz being left handed, i think i may find it a bit difficuly, plus when i write, i tend to turn my book at a 90 degree angle. Weird..

gees i know that feeling! does newhere have left handed desks ? i write on a 90 angle 2...so like write with my page landscape but the lines going up n down...n i write from like my chest 2 the top of the desk...does that make sense?! im really weird aye! lol
