Playing devil's advocate here, but was it really "theirs" in the first place? I did state at the beginning of my thread that I wasn't able to make the monday (and said a "have fun" to those that were going so there wwas no cause for hard feelings) so I took the initiative and started looking at other dates because I still wanted to meet people (I missed the meetup last semester). Others expressed similar inabilities to make mondays, and so another meetup was born...

Something all you recent post-HSC students will learn at uni is that uni social lives aren't really the same as during the HSC. In high school, you all got the same breaktimes so there's this "you have to invite EVERYBODY or nobody" mentality. At uni, everyone's got different timetables - if you can meet up, great, if not, well then fine. Chances are you'll meet fellow BOSers at some point in your uni life anyway.

Yours was not the first MQ BOS meetup to be planned, nor will it be the last. No need to flip overboard just because people can't come, or because there's "another one"... just sayin'.

I was aware of the other thread, i havent posted in it because I'm lazy atm...i look at a lot of threads on BoS and never post but i must say thank you Hera for pointing it out to the others, very sweet and considerate of you

I'm still considering whether I'll be going, as my timetable is not finalised yet.
