The Engineering are the worst computers at the University I think:p.

Yeah I’ll be at Newcastle University next year, either studying b development studies/bachelor of arts or just straight b development studies.
I live about 15 minutes from Newcastle Uni so I’ll be living at home.

I'm going. I'm going to try and get in to med. radiation science (D.R.)

To jess and co: I hear that most people dont live on campus (apart from the international students) so how did you meet people there? Or did you just stay with your circle of friends from school?

Also, for off campus, where do you recommend as a good spot to live?

According to the site, a fair few people live there, but they save about 25% of places for international students

political science? psychology? I'm not sure, I don't know what they are like so I guess I'll decide when I'm there. What about you?

Sounds good. Yeah I’m a bit unsure at this stage, so I’ll just decide when I’m there. Most likely politics and policy though.

I'm not too worried, considering half my year (a whole 20 people) are going to newcastle, but I've got something against my friends, so the sooner i meet new people the better!

Yeah, I was saying I think the one he is doing is Radiation Therapy. It is either that or Diagnostic Radiography, but I am inclined to think it is Radiation Therapy:).

@infirmus:
as per comp eng, first year is mostly circuit theory, maths and physics, you dont need p4 3+ghz pcs to do this, when you are programming however you have a nice array of very fast computers to play with
