LOL! I hate it too, mainly because it's almost impossible in probability to be 100% sure to get the question right.

That's exactly why I hate it! And tree diagrams?? Argh, so frustrating. I swear, if they ask a question in my trials involving the probability of coloured marbles I will shoot someone.

Seriously, always colours of marbles :mad1:

Sometimes it can be confusing but I find it alright.

Do they want us to become professional gamblers after the HSC or something.
More likely the opposite, to show how the odds are against us lol

Probablility is my most hated subject too... the questions are somethings just to vague and confusing!

It was difficult at first. But its not too bad.
Just need to learn the process step by step and understand it.

If you can follow the process for one pass paper, and understand that, you should be able to apply to any question or scenario

yeah I hate it because it's annoying, but on the other hand, I like it because everyone's bad at it.

I have to teach it. I always hate it, too.

The weird thing is, Gen maths probability is harder than 2 unit, cause the 2 unit students don't do perms and combs.

Does this unit piss anyone else off or is it just me?

Why is it even taught? Do they want us to become professional gamblers after the HSC or something.

Everything else is fine. But probability.. its pointless. just like catholic studies.

Probability equips students with the necessary skills required for those wishing to pursue a successful career in the area of professional gambling or similar.
