thats a really good thought, it would also explain how Teachers know about the site. But then again, why if it is 'board endorsed' why teachers don't actually tell us about it?
Or they have a bigger say in the site?

Members who are interested in becoming a moderator submit an application which is then discussed/voted on by the current mod team with the Smods/admin doing the actual electing/final decision making

Pretty much, they have all left here, and those that are still here rarely post and you wouldn't know them. Its deteriorating.

So who made you a Moderator?

The moderators at the time of my appointment voted majority-yes when I applied (the same as every other moderator).

(Real life) I've met James King. I've even met Minai.

Yes I (and other mods) do speak to the creators of BoS in modland. Even regular members have in the forum. Not so much anymore though.

Yes they have a say about how the site is run. I mean, they started this site out of their own pocket after all.
