I'm paying for it all.

No parent contributions

I'll feel independent when the paying starts running... sounds so daunting, paying HECS and the compulsary contributions, but hey! There ya go.

How about you guys?

I got into B Music (Composition) at Syd Con.... YAY! first preference!

I'm paying later, there's no way I can pay upfront. Although I'll be forking over $590 on enrolment day for the compulsary contributions there....

Which is huge for me considering I've only worked for a bit, and been saving that money for an ipod really... hahahaha, until my parents said they won't help. Which is fine :) It's my damn degree anyway!

Thanx for asking natsar :D

As if the money is that much, we're such whingers.. we complain about not being able to save for a house or pay uni fee's but we buy the latest phone all the time, the designer clothes, the done up car.....

no more whinging.

Paying for myself through a student loan through HECS-HELP. My parents would never even consider paying my uni fees.

I dont mind havign to pay half back to my parents when I get a job... seems only fair.. I cant expect them to pay fro it all, the same as they cant expect me to.. it is a lot of money to go to a private college.. it seems only fair and I have no discrepancies against it :)

i'm gonna be paying for my course's hecs upfront by myself next week, but with a little assistance from my folks (to be repayed soon) so i can keep the 20% discount and buy some books.
i felt annoyed finding out that union fees were in the order of $590 at usyd to be paid upfront as well
