Hey Mel there was a girl in this months Frankie that was wearing your Lover shorts with a pale yellow singlet and she looked awesome.

Should I get last season's silk striped pale pink Camilla and Marc dress? Its at MYL for $190

I know that's cheap for CM but it's last season and I don't know if i should save my money for something new... it's pretty though. hmmm

Like...Fleur Wood is beautiful and all, but some of her dresses are ACTUALLY just slips. This one my friend bought, it's just a satin nightie-slip.

She had this really cute yellow summer dress when I was in Oxford St last, but alas it did not fit. I bought little linen shorts for $30, though. STEAL.

I'm going to get the CM dress, its the one in that pic you posted, because that 50's style waist is flattering for me.

Go for the FW dresses, but NOT if they're just glorified slips...

And I love Karen Walker. Did you see that show on style.com with the slogan tees? CUTE!

hi girls,

can we keep on-topic? Alternatively I can move the dress convo to another thread if you'd like to keep it around...

I don't.
They hurt my feet plus I'm already several inches taller than my boyfriend, I don't need to tower over him any higher.

- height (although this is becoming less of an issue for me, woot)
- they make your legs look hawt
- they look pretty and thus make you feel pretty wearing them
- the right pair can make even your fugly pjs look sexy
- they make that awesome click noise on hard surfaces

...having said that i avoid them at all costs and only wear them when i really really have to, because they hurt and stuff and can be kinda impractical when you need to say, sprint down a flight of stairs onto a crowded station platform to try and catch the last train home (i have done this in heels (tipsy as well), it is not fun.)

I only wear them to 'formal' events because it looks better with dresses. But i can't walk properly in them.

Longest record?.....whenever i get the chance to sit down i take them off.

i love them, they make my legs longer, and me taller. i walk on my tippy toes when i'm not wearing them anyways so i'm sorta used to it but it's hard to dance in them.
